Napoli have signed Colombian defender Juan Camilo Zuniga from Serie A rivals Siena for around €8.5million.
The Azzurri held off competition from a number of other Italian clubs to secure the 23-year-old on a five-year deal worth a reported €800,000 a year including bonuses.
The deal between the two clubs also includes them becoming joint owners of 27-year-old striker Emanuele Calaio, who has previously spent time on-loan at Siena.
Zuniga becomes the fifth major signing of the summer for manager Roberto Donadoni, who only took over the club in March following the sacking of Edoardo Reja.
With the previous additions of Fabio Quagliarella, Luca Cigarini, Morgan De Sanctis and Hugo Campagnaro, Zuniga is expected to be the final big coup from President Aurelio De Laurentiis this summer.
