[Mercato] Genoa pick up Kharja

Genoa have agreed to buy talented Moroccan midfielder Houssine Kharja from Siena in a cash plus players deal.

The Rossoblu will pay around £3million for Kharja and will send Gianluca Pegolo and Manuel Coppola to Siena.

Kharja was a revelation last term, scoring five Serie A goals and setting up countless others in 36 appearances for the Tuscans.


He becomes Genoa's fifth signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Sergio Floccari, Hernan Crespo, Nenad Tomovic and Pele.

The Rossoblu are not done yet in the transfer market either, as Moussa Dembele, the highly rated AZ Alkmaar striker is also said to be on his way to the Luigi Ferraris.
