Genoa President Enrico Preziosi has announced the signings of Inter striker Hernan Crespo and Crvena Zvezda defender Nenad Tomovic.
The Grifone, who will be playing in the UEFA Europa League next season, have been doing a lot of business with Inter following the sale of star men Diego Milito and Thiago Motta to the Nerazzurri.
But it now seems that Argentine marksman Crespo will be moving in the other direction to join the newly-signed Sergio Floccari in the Genoa attack.
"We worked everything out with Crespo's agent today," Preziosi told Radio Kiss Kiss. "I can say that Crespo is effectively a Genoa player."
Preziosi also confirmed his club's strong interest in signing out of favour midfielder Ricardo Quaresma from the Italian champions on a short term deal and Lorenzo Di Silvestri from Lazio.
"As for Quaresma, we are just waiting on the player to agree and sign but Inter are perfectly happy to implement co-ownership," he said.
"We are also interested in Di Silvestri because he is a player with a great future.
"We know that his contract expires in 2010, but we don't want to be sly and we will go about things in the correct way with Lazio. We have already expressed an interest to Lazio."
While negotiations are continuing on those deals, Preziosi was able to confirm the signing of Serbian youngster Tomovic.
"This morning we also closed a deal for the Red Star defender Tomovic. We will take him to our pre-season training camp, but then he could be sent out on loan to gain experience."
