Catania have completed the signature of Argentine ace Pablo Barrientos from FC Moscow.
The 24-year-old, a promising attacking midfielder who can also play in the wide positions, will sign a four-year deal with the Sicilians.
Barrientos started his career at San Lorenzo in his homeland before being signed by Russian outfit FC Moscow and loaned back to his first club.
The talented No.10 made 15 appearances for Argentina's Under-20 side and received his first senior call up from Diego Maradona for a game against Chile last November.
Catania have extensive scouting links in South America and will hope that Barrientos is as successful as Pablo Ledesma, who joined this time last year.
