[Coppa Italia] Samp set up Lazio Final

Inter 1-0 Sampdoria (Agg: 1-3)Sampdoria slipped to a 1-0 defeat against Inter, but still made the final of the Coppa Italia where they will face Lazio.

Jose Mourinho's men trailed 3-0 from the first leg of the semi-final contest and never looked like overturning that deficit.

After a bright start, Samp were made to pay as Inter went ahead through Zlatan Ibrahimovic on the half-hour mark. The Sweden international volleyed home from the edge of the area after latching onto a long ball.

The home side went close to adding a second, and Samp had chances to wrap up the tie and also had a strong penalty appeal waved down in the second half.

Time was running out for the Serie A leaders and their misery was completed in injury-time when Marco Materazzi was shown a second yellow card.

Four-time cup winners Sampdoria and Lazio, who were 4-2 aggregate winners against Juventus on Wednesday, will meet in the final at Rome's Stadio Olimpico on 13 May.
