Juventus' injury woes continued with the news Claudio Marchisio will be sidelined for almost a month with an ankle problem.
The 22-year-old midfielder sustained the injury during Tuesday's 2-1 Champions League triumph against Real Madrid, and subsequent tests have revealed the player will be out of action for around 25 days.
The news is a further blow for Juve coach Claudio Ranieri, who is also without Gianluigi Buffon, Nicola Legrottaglie, Cristiano Zanetti, Christian Poulsen, Mauro Camoranesi and David Trezeguet.
Marchisio has played five times in Serie A this term after returning from a successful loan spell at Empoli. Juve are leading Champions League Group H but are only 12th in Serie A with nine points from seven games.
