Damaged elbow makes Mutu a doubt

Adrian Mutu may miss Fiorentina's decider against Slavia Prague after dislocating his elbow while attempting an overhead kick in training.

The 29-year-old forward picked up the injury ahead of Romania's friendly game against Latvia on Wednesday and is now a doubt for the trip to Prague on 27 August and their opening Serie A match against Juventus four days later.

Mutu opened the scoring in his side's 2-0 win in the opening fixture against Czech champions Slavia last Tuesday.

Scans have ruled out a fracture to his damaged elbow, but initial tests suggested he would be out of action for around three weeks.
