[Mercato] Inter take a share of Jimenez

Chile midfielder Luis Jimenez will remain with Inter next season after the Serie A champions acquired 50 per cent of his playing licence from Ternana for an undisclosed fee.

The 24-year-old scored three goals in 15 league games while on loan from the Lega Pro 1 club last term, as well as making three substitute appearances in the Champions League.

Jimenez, who has been capped 20 times by Chile, joined Ternana in 2002 and has previously spent time on loan at Inter's Serie A rivals Fiorentina and Lazio.

He is Jose Mourinho's second signing following Mancini's arrival from Roma on Tuesday.
