Buffon signs new Juve deal

Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has signed a new deal at the club.

The Italian international, who became the most expensive goalkeeper in history when he joined Juve from Parma in 2001, has extended his stay in Turin until 2013.

Buffon was delighted to pledge his long-term future to Juve and the news ends speculation that Buffon could leave the Bianconeri in the summer.

"I'll play at Juventus until I'm 35-years-old," said Buffon.

"I want to thank the club and its fans for holding me in such high esteem and affection."
