Lyon have completed the signing of Juventus defender Jean-Alain Boumsong on Saturday night.
Boumsong joins the French giants for €3m and has signed a three-and-half-year deal at the Stade Gerland.
He will hope the switch to the six-time defending Ligue 1 champions will resurrect his career.
A regular starter in his first season in Turin, Boumsong has been limited to just two Coppa Italia appearances this term under Claudio Ranieri, though ensured he made a lasting impression on Wednesday with the equaliser in a 2-2 first leg quarter-final draw with Inter.
The 28-year-old, who had spells with Glasgow Rangers and Newcastle United before helping Juve to promotion last season, made his name at Le Havre and Auxerre before moving abroad.
