The French-born Portuguese Under-21 international has signed a five-year contract with Fiorentina who are fourth in Serie A.Da Costa started his career in the French Ligue 1 with Nancy, playing ten league games before joining PSV in 2006.
He made 15 Eredivisie appearances for the Dutch champions, scoring one goal, during his first term in Eindhoven.
This season, however, he has found first-team opportunities limited, having just one substitute outing in the league and featuring once in the Champions League – both times in September.
