UC Draw: Viola travel to Norway

Fiorentina have been drawn with Rosenborg in the Last 32 of the UEFA Cup.

The Norwegian side exited the Champions League after finishing third behind Chelsea and Schalke, but beat Spanish giants Valencia twice.

Fiorentina, who secured their place in the knockout round with a 2-1 win over Mlada Boleslav, could have been in danger of being paired with one of the top teams after finishing in second place behind Villarreal in Group C, but they will be confident when they travel to Norway in the first leg on 13 or 14 February. The return in Florence will be on 21 February.

Coach Cesare Prandelli is expecting a tough test.

"Rosenborg are a capable and solid side who have faced even Milan with success and this shows that they have a great experience in Europe," Prandelli said. "It's obvious that there will be difficulties for us but we will go into the tie with our usual desire and determination. We will do everything to go through to the next round."

If La Viola progress, they could face another trip to Norway as the winners will face Brann or English outfit Everton in the Last 16 stage. The first leg in this round will take place on 6 March and the return on 12 or 13 March.
