It has been a long hard trek, but Napoli are back in Serie A for the first time since 2001 and the Azzurri fans can't wait for their opening match against Cagliari at the Stadio San Paolo this Sunday.
Thanks to film-producing owner Aurelio De Laurentiis, the club have bounced back from bankruptcy and third tier football to return to the top flight in the space of just six years.
Now that they are back, they intend to stay there. Preparations on and off the training pitch are continuing in this final week before kick off, but they started when promotion was confirmed back in June.
