Serie A 2007-08

With Napoli and Genoa gaining promotion today as the second and third-placed teams behind Serie B champions Juventus, the line-up for next season's Serie A is complete.

Serie A 2007-08:

Atalanta, Cagliari, Catania, Empoli, Fiorentina, Genoa, Inter, Juventus, Lazio, Livorno, Milan, Napoli, Palermo, Parma, Reggina, Roma, Sampdoria, Siena, Torino, Udinese.

The new season is set to start on the weekend of 25/26 August 2007.


UEFA Champions League 2007-08 Group Stage:
Internazionale
Roma
Milan

Milan qualify for the Group Stage automatically as holders of the tournament. The draw for the Group Stage will be made on 30 August 2007. The first matchday of the 2007-08 tournament will be 18/19 September 2007.


UEFA Champions League 2007-08 Qualifying:
Lazio

Lazio will enter the tournament at the third qualifying round. The draw for this will be made on 3 August 2007. The first leg will take place on 14/15 August 2007 while the return will be on 28/29 August 2007.


UEFA Cup 2007-08:
Fiorentina
Palermo
Empoli

The draw for the UEFA Cup first round will be made on 31 August 2007. The first leg will take place on 20 September 2007 while the return will be on 4 October 2007.


UEFA Intertoto Cup 2007-08:
Sampdoria

Sampdoria will enter the tournament at the third round stage where they will play either Ethnikos Achnas of Cyprus, Makedonija Skopje of Macedonia or Cherno More Varna of Bulgaria over two legs on 21/22 July 2007 and 28/29 July 2007.

If Samp progress, they will enter the second qualifying round of the UEFA Cup. The draw for this will take place on 3 August 2007. The first leg will be played on 16 August 2007 with the return on 30 August 2007. If Samp win that, they will qualify for the UEFA Cup proper, entering the first round.
