Inter youngsters win Scudetto

Inter Primavera emulated the first team with a 1-0 win over Sampdoria in the final of the Campionato Primavera - Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti to lift the Under-19 Scudetto for the sixth time in their history.

Sixteen-year-old striker Mario Balotelli settled an evenly-balanced clash at the Stadio Comunale in Bressaneon, hitting the winning goal from the penalty spot in the 89th minute after being fouled in the box by Samp defender Rossini.

Fittingly, the members of Inter's senior youth team were awarded their winners medals by Luca Facchetti, son Giacinto who sadly passed away last year.

TorinoCAMPIONATO BERRETTI

Torino were crowned the champions of Campionato Nazionale Dante Berretti after a 4-2 aggregate win over city rivals Juventus in the final thanks to a brace each from Loreto Lo Bosco and Denis D'Onofrio over the two legs, while Perugia beat Padova 4-3 in the Lega Pro version of the competition.

The Under-20 Berretti championship is played mainly between clubs from Serie C1 and C2, but some Serie A and B clubs enter their Under-19 sides to compete. However, for the final knock-out phase the Serie A and B teams who progressed from the regular league season are separated from the Lega Pro clubs for two separate trophies that run side-by-side.

AC MilanCAMPIONATO ALLIEVI

In the final of the Under-17 Campionato Allievi Nazionali, AC Milan thumped Genoa 4-0 in the final thanks to a hat-trick from Alberto Paloschi and an Alessandro Ruggeri penalty inside the first 20 minutes.
