Genoa came from behind to beat Roma 2-1 in the Final of the prestigious Viareggio youth tournament.
The capital boys did take the lead through Stefano Okaka on 21 minutes, but the Grifoncini – bossed by former Genoa defender Vincenzo Torrente – hit back in the second half.
Siligato was their hero after he converted a penalty before firing in the winner in the 76th minute to see Genoa triumph in the 59th edition of the Coppa Carnevale competition.
Meanwhile, Empoli finished third in the tournament after the Azzurrini walloped Belgian giants Anderlecht 5-0 in the play-off.
