Coppa Italia - 2007 Final

The Lega Calcio have confirmed that both legs of the Coppa Italia Final between Roma and Inter will now take place in May.

The two teams, who have come up against each other in the last two Finals, will meet in the first leg on Wednesday May 9 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome and return on Thursday May 17 in San Siro in Milan.

The 2005 and 2006 winners Inter, who are on course to win their third straight title, while Roma will be hoping its third time lucky.


The first leg in Rome was initially pencilled in for Wednesday April 18, but had to be rearranged as Serie A games were placed on that date. This move came after the Week 22 matches were postponed at the begining of February because of the suspension of all football in Italy following the death of a policeman in a Sicilian derby match between Catania and Palermo.

Match takes place on 9 May 2007.
